Williams Partners to repay 4.875% notes due 2023 with new deal funds

New York, May 31 – Williams Partners LP plans to repay its $1.4 billion of 4.875% senior notes due 2023 with proceeds from an offering of new senior notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company announced the new offering on Wednesday morning, naming BofA Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and RBC Capital Markets as joint bookrunners.

Proceeds will also be used for general partnership purposes and to repay other debt.

Williams Partners is a Tulsa, Okla., energy infrastructure master limited partnership that operates a gas pipeline and midstream businesses.
