Securitized secondary market volume remains light; investment-grade secondary trading thin

Tupelo, Miss., May 30 – CLO secondary market activity has remained light in late May in high-grade-rated securities.
On Friday, $4.86 million of investment-grade CBO/CDO/CLO issues were traded, while $27.65 million of non-investment-grade securities were traded, according to Trace.
High-grade securitized secondary market volume totaled $107.91 million on Thursday, $6.75 million on Wednesday and $43.31 million on Tuesday.
Non-investment-grade CBO/CDO/CLO secondary volume totaled $262.67 million on Thursday, $120.59 million on Wednesday and about $284.9 million on Tuesday, according to Trace data.
In the primary market, more than $27 billion of new CLOs have priced year to date, market sources report.
