Finland’s Elisa gets tenders for €120 million of 2.25% notes due 2019

Norfolk, Va., March 15 – Elisa Corp. said it received and accepted for purchase tenders of €120,002,000 of its 2.25% notes due 2019 in an offer made by Nordea Bank AB (publ).

The tender offer expired at noon ET on Tuesday.

The company initially tendered up to €100 million of the notes and received tenders of €137,547,000, according to a news release.

As previously reported, the purchase price will be 106.145% at settlement on Thursday. The company will also pay accrued interest of 1.00479%.

The offer was contingent on the issue of new notes under the company’s €1 billion euro medium-term note program, in which it expects to price €300 million of new seven-year notes.
