Santander UK calls ¥15 billion 5.56% notes, €100 million floaters

Norfolk, Va., Dec. 16 – Santander UK plc plans to redeem the full amounts outstanding under its ¥15 billion of 5.56% undated subordinated notes and €100 million of callable step-up subordinated floating-rate notes due 2017, according to separate filings with the London Stock Exchange.

The 5.56% notes will be redeemed on Jan. 31, and the floaters will be redeemed on Jan. 10.

The company said it applied to cancel the notes’ listing.

The financial services company is based in London.
