American Electric calls subordinated debentures, senior notes in full

Kansas City, Kan., Nov. 8 - American Electric Power Co., Inc. will redeem all of its 8.75% junior subordinated debentures and 5.25% series D senior notes, according to company news releases.

The company will redeem its $315 million debentures on Dec. 19 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date and a make-whole premium.

The company will also redeem its $242,775,000 senior notes, which are due 2015, on Dec. 14 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date and a make-whole premium.

The make-whole premiums will be determined three business days prior to their respective redemption dates.

Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the redemption agent.

American Electric Power is a Columbus, Ohio-based electricity provider.
