Fannie Mae to redeem $1.49 billion medium-term notes at par

Cleveland, Dec. 13 - Fannie Mae announced that it will redeem $1.49 billion of its medium-term notes.
Fannie Mae said in a news release that the redemption price will be the principal amount plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.
Affected are the following securities, to be redeemed on Dec. 23:
• $25 million of 3.05% notes due Dec. 23, 2015;
• $50 million of 1.125% notes due Dec. 23, 2015;
• $100 million of 3% notes due Dec. 23, 2015;
• $175 million of 1.125% notes due April 23, 2012;
• $175 million of 1.5% notes due April 23, 2012;
• $125 million of 2.25% notes due Dec. 23, 2015;
• $440 million of 1% notes due June 23, 2015;
• $100 million of 1.7% notes due June 23, 2017;
• $100 million of 2.5% notes due Dec. 23, 2015;
• $100 million of 1.25% notes due June 23, 2014; and
• $100 million of 1.5% notes due June 23, 2014.
