New York Fed offers to buy 17 agency series under purchase program

Tacoma, Wash., Jan. 28 - The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is offering to buy debt from 17 series of agency-issued securities with maturities from Oct. 18, 2016 through July 15, 2032, according to its web site.

The outright agency coupon purchase will be carried out on Jan. 29 and settle on Feb. 1.

Fannie Mae notes

The offer includes the following notes issued by Fannie Mae:

• 4.875% notes due Dec. 15, 2016;

• 5% notes due Feb. 13, 2017;

• 5% notes due May 11, 2017;

• 5.375% notes due June 12, 2017;

• 6.25% notes due May 15, 2029;

• 7.125% notes due Jan. 15, 2030;

• 7.25% notes due May 15, 2030; and

• 6.625% notes due Nov. 15, 2030.

Freddie Mac notes

The Fed is also offering to purchase the following notes issued by Freddie Mac:

• 5.125% notes due Oct. 18, 2016;

• 5.5% notes due Aug. 23, 2017;

• 5.125% notes due Nov. 17, 2017;

• 4.875% notes due June 13, 2018;

• 3.75% notes due March 27, 2019;

• 6.75% notes due March 15, 2031; and

• 6.25% notes due July 15, 2032.

FHLB notes

Finally, the offer to purchase also includes the 4.75% notes due Dec. 16, 2016 and 5% notes due Nov. 17, 2017 issued by the Federal Home Loan Banks.
