Principal's Global Real Estate Securities Fund now non-diversified

San Diego, April 9 - Principal Funds made changes to the class A, B, C and P shares prospectus of its Global Real Estate Securities Fund, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The fund is now considered non-diversified and can invest a higher percentage of assets in securities of individual issuers than a diversified fund.

Des Moines-based Principal Management Corp. is the fund's investment adviser.
