Global Payment amends terms of convertible note due November 2007

New York, June 22 - Global Payment Technologies, Inc. amended some terms of a secured convertible minimum borrowing note and secured revolving notes held by Laurus Master Fund, Ltd.

The maturity date was moved to Nov. 15, 2007.

The notes were issued in March 2004.

Based in Hauppauge, N.Y., Global Payment Technologies makes currency validation systems.

The company's stock gave up 18.46%, or 12 cents, to end at $0.53 (Nasdaq: GPTX).
