Global Home Products unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, April 27 - Global Home Products LLC's U.S. Trustee appointed the official committee of unsecured creditors for the company's Chapter 11 case, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee includes Stella Ye of Zhejiang Taizhou Aishida Electrical Equipment Co., Wenling City, Zhejiang, China; Marc Cohen of Kaye Scholer LLP, Los Angeles; Alex Lee of Asia Trading Co., Kowloon, Hong Kong; David R. Jury of the United Steelworkers of America, Pittsburgh; Brian Thomas of Lewisburg Container Co., Conyers, Ga.; Bruce Gilliland of International Paper Co., Memphis; and Michael Traison of Colorbox LLC, Detroit.

Global Home Products, through its Anchor Hocking, The Burnes Group and WearEver businesses, is a Westerville, Ohio-based designer, marketer and manufacturer of branded consumer and specialty products to retail and hospitality customers and original equipment manufacturers. It filed for bankruptcy on April 10. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-10430.
