Getty Petroleum three-member unsecured creditors committee appointed

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 20 - Getty Petroleum Marketing, Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by Region 2 U.S. Trustee Tracy Hope Davis, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The committee members are Stephen J. Bednar, assistant general counsel for Citgo Petroleum Corp. of Houston; Giovanni N. Cutillo of Nino's Auto Repair, Inc. of Staten Island, N.Y.; and Chapter 7 Trustee Alfred Thomas Giuliano of Giuliano Miller & Co., LLC of West Berlin, N.J., for Bionol Clearfield, LLC.

Getty Petroleum, an East Meadow, N.Y., distributor of motor and heating fuels, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 5. Its Chapter 11 case number is 11-15606.
