Georgia-Pacific calls $250 million of 9 5/8% debentures

New York, March 2 - Georgia-Pacific Corp. said it will redeem $250 million of its 9 5/8% debentures due March 15, 2022 on March 31.

The Atlanta paper and building products company will use borrowings under its revolving credit facility to fund the redemption.

Georgia-Pacific originally issued the debentures in 1992.
