SCSF Equities increases stake in Georgia Gulf to 10.9%

Tacoma, Wash., Dec. 6 - Georgia Gulf Corp. investors led by SCSF Equities, LLC purchased 366,500 shares of the company's stock between Nov. 29 and Dec. 4 at an average price of $7.04 to $7.39 per share.

Specifically, the reporting persons purchased 43,200 shares on Nov. 29 at an average price of $7.04 each, 48,300 shares on Nov. 30 at an average price of $7.39 each, 200,000 shares on Dec. 3 at an average price of $7.18 each and 75,000 shares on Dec. 4 at an average price of $7.07 each.

The investors now beneficially own 3,756,241 shares, or 10.9%, of the Atlanta building and home improvement products manufacturing company's common stock.

On April 30, 2007, the investors reported ownership of 2,884,041 shares for an 8.4% stake.
