Alvarez & Marsal's Michael Lord joins U.S. restructuring practice

Pittsburgh, Oct. 10 - Alvarez & Marsal veteran turnaround professional Michael Lord has joined the firm's U.S. restructuring practice, according to a company news release.
Lord most recently was a managing director in the firm's London office. He will now be based in Atlanta and New York.
Specializing in operational turnarounds and performance improvement, the firm said Lord has more than 30 years of experience serving in interim management and advisory roles with both U.S. and international organizations across a variety of industry sectors.
Before joining Alvarez & Marsal, Lord was chief executive officer of Nationwide Credit Inc. Before that, he spearheaded the turnaround of Tyco Toys.
Lord holds a master's degree in economics from Cambridge University.
