Jefferies hires Eun Yang as biotechnology analyst

New York, Sept. 7 - Jefferies & Co., Inc. said it has hired Eun Yang as a managing director and senior equity research analyst covering biotechnology companies.

Yang was previously a senior equity research analyst for Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, where she also covered biotechnology. Before that she held similar positions at Needham & Co., LLC and Lazard Freres & Co., LLC and consulted for ImClone Systems. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital through Cornell Medical College, where she was an instructor for the Department of Medicine, and she was an adjunct professor for the Department of Natural and Applied Sciences at City University of New York.

Yang, who will be based in New York, will work with senior research analyst Adam Walsh on covering U.S. biotechnology companies.
