Barclays Capital names Philip Suttle as head of emerging markets research

New York, May 23 - Barclays Capital said it named Philip Suttle as managing director and head of emerging markets research.

Suttle joins the firm from JP Morgan, where he served as managing director and held such positions as head of emerging markets economics and head of global economic analysis.

Prior to that, he worked at the World Bank, the Bank of England, the Institute of International Finance, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Based in New York, Suttle will report to Larry Kantor, managing director and head of economics and market strategy.
