UBS hires Herlyn, Rosenberg as co-heads of global credit CDO group
By Sara Rosenberg
New York, March 10 - UBS Warburg said it hired Jeff Herlyn and Mike Rosenberg as co-heads of the global credit CDO group. Herlyn will be a managing director and Rosenberg will be an executive director.
The global credit CDO group will work with credit derivative structurers and traders to create products for clients focusing on third-party transactions, both cash and synthetic. The team will be part of the global credit derivatives business.
Previously, Herlyn and Rosenberg were at JP Morgan Chase where they were co-heads of CDO products in North America.
"These hires further underscore our commitment to the credit markets," said Sal Naro, co-global head of global credit derivatives, in a news release. "The combination of CDO origination bankers with credit correlation trading and a top-tier cash trading franchise positions UBS Warburg as one of the premier credit trading houses in the world."
