PriceTracker adds LoanX loan valuations to its service
By Sara Rosenberg
New York, Jan. 13 - PriceTracker, a creditex Inc. data service, has begun offering syndicated loan pricing from LoanX. Prices on over 2,200 loans are currently available, as reported by the dealer community.
"This is the first time that market participants have access to a database that combines credit default swap information with prices from the syndicated loan market," said Warren Saft, head of creditex's data business, in a news release. "PriceTracker provides market participants with additional information to analyze credit information via a single data service."
"Sophisticated credit portfolio managers have, until now, required multiple sources of market data to compare different risk asset classes," said Michael Rushmore, chief executive officer of LoanX, in the release. "This commitment to increase credit market transparency with aggregated derivative and cash credit market data simplifies relative value analysis for all participants."
