General Moly investor Coghill sells more than 2.6 million shares

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 28 - Investors led by Coghill Capital Management, LLC sold 2,645,469 shares of General Moly Inc. between May 29 and Sept. 16 priced from $2.03 to $3.62 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filed on Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investors beneficially own 12,736,460 shares, or 16.7%, of the company's outstanding stock.

Based in Lakewood, Colo., General Moly is a molybdenum mineral development, exploration and mining company.
