Deal sells series C convertible cumulative preferreds at $1,000 each

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 4 - General Finance Corp. raised $750,000 in a private placement of series C convertible cumulative preferred stock, according to an 8-K filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The 0% preferreds were sold at $1,000 apiece. They are convertible into common stock.
General Finance is a Pasadena, Calif.-based provider of portable storage services.
