Xmark continues to invest in Genaera

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 7 - Xmark Opportunity Partners, LLC added to its stake in Genaera Corp. with the purchase of 212,500 shares of the company's stock between Aug. 9 and Aug. 28 priced from $2.79 to $3.06 each.

The transactions were listed in a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Xmark owns 3,571,542 shares, or 20.5%, of the Plymouth Meeting, Pa., biopharmaceutical company.

On Aug. 17, Xmark reported buying 212,500 shares between July 27 and Aug. 8 priced from $2.67 to $3.00 each, for a 19.4% stake in Genaera, according to a previous SEC filing. Xmark owned 18.2% of the company's outstanding shares on Aug. 6.
