Fitch rates Gazprom notes BBB

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Gaz Capital SA's $500 million of 7.51% loan participation notes due 2013 BBB ratings. The notes are issued under the company's 30 billion loan participation note program, rated BBB.

Gaz Capital is issuing the notes to finance a loan to OAO Gazprom (BBB/stable).

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
