Gamco nominates three directors for election to Gaylord Entertainment board

By Lisa Kerner

Charlotte, N.C., Feb. 3 - A group of Gaylord Entertainment Co. investors led by Gamco Asset Management Inc. will nominate Glenn Angiolillo, J. Peter Kline and Robert S. Prather, Jr. for election to the company's board of directors at Gaylord's 2009 annual shareholders meeting.

The nominations were made in a Feb. 3 letter to Gaylord included in a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Angiolillo, 54, is president of GJA Corp., a consulting and advisory company.

Kline, 69, is the managing partner of Seneca Advisers LLP and former chairman and chief executive officer of Bristol Hotels & Resorts.

Prather, 63, is the president and chief operating officer of Gray Television, Inc. and chairman of the board of Triple Crown Media, Inc.

Gamco beneficially owns 5,474,729 shares or 13.38% of Gaylord, a Nashville entertainment company.

In September it was reported that Gamco, a Rye, N.Y.-based investment firm, named Gaylord as one of 13 companies it believed would benefit from new nominations to their boards of directors.
