Gamco adds Dreyer, Merangi to manage Gabelli Dividend & Income Trust

Minneapolis, Jan. 3 - Gamco Investors, Inc. added Kevin V. Dreyer and Christopher J. Marangi to the investment team of the Gabelli Dividend and Income Trust, according to a press release.

Dreyer and Marangi join existing portfolio managers Mario J. Gabelli, Barbara G. Marcin and Robert D. Leininger.

Dreyer joined Gabelli & Co., Inc. as a research analyst in 2005 and currently leads the consumer research team. He has been the associate portfolio manager of the Gamco Global Opportunity Fund, the Gabelli Healthcare & Wellness Trust and the Gabelli Asset Fund as well as a co-portfolio manager of the Gamco Natural Resources, Gold & Income Trust by Gabelli. Previously he worked as an investment banking analyst at Banc of America Securities.

Marangi joined Gabelli & Co., Inc. as a research analyst in 2003 and currently leads the digital research team covering the global media and telecommunications industries. He has been the associate portfolio manager of the Gabelli Value Fund, the Gabelli Global Multimedia Trust and the Gabelli Asset Fund as well as a co-portfolio manager of the Gamco Natural Resources, Gold & Income Trust by Gabelli. Prior to Gabelli, Marangi worked as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan & Co. and as an associate at Wellspring Capital Management.

Gamco is a based Rye, N.Y.-based investment manager.
