Hayman wants representative on ExpressJet board

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 29 - ExpressJet Holdings, Inc. investors led by Hayman Advisors LP requested the company expand its board of directors to 10 directors from nine and immediately appoint William F. Loftus as a director to fill the newly created class III directorship at the company's board meeting in September.

Loftus' term would expire at the company's 2010 annual meeting of stockholders, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Hayman has a 1.8% ownership interest in the Houston-based regional airline.
