Millenco, Millennium sell off shares of Excel Technology, reduce stake to 3.2%

Charlotte, N.C., March 22 - Excel Technology, Inc. investors Millenco, LLC and Millennium Management, LLC sold 253,724 shares of the company's stock between Jan. 30 and March 21 priced from $26.05 to $27.75 per share, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investors beneficially own 390,362 shares, or 3.2%, of the East Setauket, N.Y., laser system manufacturing company.

Excel Technology (Nasdaq: XLTC) closed at $27.33 on March 21.
