Event Rentals receives court approval to employ FTI Consulting and CRO

New York, March 17 - Event Rentals, Inc.'s hiring of FTI Consulting as legal counsel and Andrew Hinkelman of FTI Consulting as its chief restructuring officer was approved, according to a Friday order with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
Both hirings are retroactive to Feb. 13. Fees were capped at $200,000.
As previously reported, FTI will continue to provide the company with liquidity forecasting, negotiations with stakeholders, asset sales and preparation of financial statements and reports services.
As CRO, Hinkelman will continue to assist the company in its restructuring efforts and communicate with its "various constituencies," the motion stated.
Event Rentals, an Inglewood, Calif.-based provider of event rental products and related services, filed bankruptcy on Feb. 13. The Chapter 11 case number is 14-10282.
