Aerin Lauder Zinterhofer buys $8 million of Estee Lauder stock

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 20 - Estee Lauder Corp.'s Aerin Lauder Zinterhofer purchased 186,045 shares of the company's stock on Dec. 19 from her father, Ronald S. Lauder, in a private transaction for a total of $8 million as an investment.

The reporting persons beneficially own 5.43 million shares, or 4.6%, of the company's class A common stock via its holding of the same number of shares of class B common stock, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Each share of class B common stock is convertible at the option of the holder into one share of class A common stock, the filing stated.
