Entercom chairman controls 64.2% of company voting power

Charlotte, N.C., July 17 - Entercom Communications Corp. chairman Joseph M. Field reported beneficial ownership of 6,228,282 shares of the company as well as 64.2% of the voting power.

Field purchased 250,000 shares of Entercom between June 20 and June 25, according to a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

On June 25, Field entered into a stock trading plan with Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and terminated the 10b5-1 plan on July 10. Between July 1 and July 10, Field bought an additional 486,350 shares of the Bala Cynwyd, Pa., radio broadcasting company.
