Electrical Components plans new financing for buyout by Cerberus

New York, April 26 – Electrical Components International Inc. has received a commitment for financing to help fund its acquisition by Cerberus Capital Management LP from KPS Capital Partners LP, according to a market source.

Barclays, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs and RBC provided the financing commitment.

Closing is subject to customary conditions.

Electrical Components is a St. Louis-based manufacturer of wire harnesses, control boxes, and value-added assembly services for consumer appliance and specialty-industrial applications.
