Elan reiterated by Smith Barney at sell

Elan Corp. plc was reiterated by Smith Barney Citigroup analyst Andrew Swanson at a sell rating ahead of the company's earnings on Thursday. Elan shares Wednesday climbed $0.05, or 0.63%, to close at $7.99 on volume of 10,204,200 shares versus the three-month running average of 12,048,800 shares.
