Eaton Vance limits two funds' minor investments to 5% of total assets

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, March 22 - Eaton Vance has modified information associated with the table of allowed investments published in the Statement of Additional Information for two of its funds, the Eaton Vance Global Dividend Income Fund and the Eaton Vance Parametric Structured Emerging Markets Fund.

Eaton Vance added wording that said each fund will generally invest less than 5% of its total assets in an allowed investment category, as marked in the table, if that category is not identified in the prospectus as a principal investment.

In addition, if a particular investment type that is permitted but not identified in the prospectus as a significant part of the fund's strategy later becomes more significant, the prospectus will be amended to disclose the investment.

Boston Management and Research serves as the investment adviser to the Global Dividend Income Fund. Eaton Vance Management serves as investment adviser to the Parametric Structured Emerging Markets Fund. Both investment advisers are based in Boston.
