Venezia retires from Eaton Vance, affecting emerging markets funds

San Diego, Nov. 28 - Eaton Vance Investment Managers announced that Mark S. Venezia will be retiring from the Eaton Vance organization, effective Dec. 6, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

John R. Baur and Michael A. Cirami will continue as portfolio managers for the Eaton Vance Emerging Markets Local Income Fund and the Eaton Vance Emerging Markets Local Income Portfolio.

Several other funds will be affected by Venezia's retirement.

Boston-based Eaton Vance Management serves as the investment adviser to the funds.
