S&P rates Downtown Phoenix Hotel, Ariz., bonds A-

Standard & Poor's said it assigned its A- underlying rating to the Downtown Phoenix Hotel Corp., Ariz.'s $193.29 million series 2005B subordinated revenue bonds and series 2005C taxable bonds.

FGIC is insuring the bonds, but the rating reflects the higher underlying credit of the excise tax revenues pledged by the city.
