New Issue: HSBC prices $13.88 million step-up notes linked to DJ Global Titans 50

Tacoma, Wash., Jan. 28 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $13.88 million of 0% market-linked step-up notes due Jan. 26, 2015 linked to the Dow Jones Global Titans 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch is the agent.

If the final index level is greater than the step-up value -116.5% of the initial index level - the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus the index return.

If the final index level is greater than or equal to the initial level but less than or equal to the step-up value, the payout will be par plus the step-up payment of 16.5%.

If the final index level is less than the initial level, investors will be fully exposed to the decline.
