Diamond Offshore Drilling posts $40.08 million net loss for September

Olympia, Wash., Nov. 6 – Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc. reported a $40.08 million net loss for the period of Sept. 1 through Sept. 30 on $41.45 million in revenue, according a monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
In comparison, the company reported a $26.75 million net loss for the period of Aug. 1 through Aug. 31 on $37.96 million in revenue.
The company listed $407.22 million in cash as of Sept. 30, compared to $435.72 million at the end of August.
The offshore oil and gas drilling contractor is based in Houston. The company filed bankruptcy on April 26, 2020 under Chapter 11 case number 20-32307.
