Fitch affirms DFCC Bank

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed DFCC Bank's national long-term rating at AA(lka), along with its senior debentures at AA(lka) and subordinated debentures at AA-(lka).

The outlook remains stable.

The ratings are driven by its strong capitalization supported by ongoing high profitability, Fitch said.

But the ratings also take into account the bank's relatively high exposure to riskier project finance and the challenges in securing long-term funding for its longer tenure project loans, the agency said.
