Credit Suisse plans three-year barrier notes linked to U.S. Oil fund

Chicago, Aug. 2 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch plans to price 0% barrier notes due Sept. 4, 2019 linked to the United States Oil Fund, LP, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any fund gain, up an underlying cap of 39% to 43%. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 50% and will be fully exposed to any losses if the fund finishes below the 50% knock-in level.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Aug. 29 and settle on Sept. 1.

The Cusip number is 22548QE27.
