New Issue: Goldman Sachs prices $20 million additional notes linked to Topix

Tacoma, Wash., June 4 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $20 million of additional 0% notes due Oct. 1, 2013 linked to the Topix index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The add-on priced at 111.69. The original $50 million of notes priced at 99.86 on March 14. The total issue size is now $70 million.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the index return. If the index return is negative, investors will receive less than par.

The initial index level set for the notes, 1,035.236, is lower than the actual closing level of the index on the pricing date, which was 1,038.17.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
