New Issue: Kazakhstan auctions KZT 4 billion more 4% treasury bonds due 2016

Madison, Wis., Aug. 29 - The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it accepted orders for another KZT 4 billion of mid-term treasury bonds (Meokam-48, 44th issue) on Wednesday.

The 4% bonds mature on Aug. 14, 2016. Interest is payable semiannually.

The ministry said this brings the total size of the issue to KZT 22.56 billion. The initial KZT 18.56 billion of mid-term treasury bonds settled on Aug. 15.

The newest bonds were auctioned at a weighted average net price of 100.9493 with a weighted average yield of 3.9736%.

Active orders were received for KZT 6.69 billion of bonds. The net price on active orders ranged from 99.9959 to 101.8171.

The amount of accepted orders represents 26.7% of the issuer's planned issuance of KZT 15 billion of bonds.
