Interstate Bakeries reports negative $732,600 EBITDA for four weeks ended Dec. 16

Pittsburgh, Jan. 30 - Interstate Bakeries Corp. reported EBITDA of negative $732,600 for the four weeks ended Dec. 16 on revenues of $108.22 million, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri.

For the four weeks ended Nov. 18, the company posted EBITDA of $4.79 million on revenues of $111.44 million.

The net loss for the month ended Dec. 16 widened to $12.88 million from a net loss of $7.15 million the month before.

Cash on Dec. 16 was $90.51 million, compared with $81.81 million on Nov. 18.

The Kansas City, Mo., bakery operator filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 22, 2004. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-45814.
