S&P assigns Dell notes BBB

S&P said it rated Dell International LLC’s new senior unsecured notes with EMC Corp. as co-borrower, BBB. Dell International and EMC are units of Dell Technologies Inc.

The agency upgraded Dell’s ratings to BBB from BB+ on Sept.29, 2021.

The company will use the proceeds to repay its 5.45% senior notes due 2023 and for general corporate purposes, including to repay other debt.

The outlook is stable.
