Durham, N.C., plans $66.93 million sale of G.O. bonds for Tuesday

New York, June 15 - The City of Durham, N.C., is scheduled to price $66.93 million of series 2012 general obligation bonds on Tuesday, according to a preliminary official statement.

The bonds will be sold competitively with Stephens Inc. as the financial adviser.

The deal includes $11.32 million of series 2012A bonds, $4,885,000 of series 2012B taxable bonds, $38.62 million of series 2012C bonds and $12,105,000 of series 2012D G.O. refunding bonds.

The 2012A bonds are due 2013 to 2032, and the 2012B bonds are due 2013 to 2015. The 2012C bonds are due 2013 to 2032, and the 2012D bonds are due 2013 to 2025.

Proceeds will be used to finance capital improvements within the city and refund the city's series 2005A G.O. bonds.
