DTE Energy calls 2011 series I 6.5% junior subordinated debentures

Tacoma, Wash., Nov. 28 – DTE Energy Co. will redeem its 2011 series I 6.5% junior subordinated debentures due 2076 in full on Dec. 28, according to a company news release.

The redemption price is 100% of the unpaid principal amount plus accrued interest up to but excluding Dec. 28.

The company will fund the redemption with the proceeds of $280 million of 2016 series F 6% junior subordinated debentures due 2076, which priced on Nov. 28.

DTE Energy is a power producer based in Detroit.
