Dreyfus Municipal appoints Steven Harvey co-primary portfolio manager

Kansas City, Kan., Feb. 2 - Dreyfus Municipal Income, Inc. has appointed Steven Harvey co-primary portfolio manager, according to a company news release. The fund's board of directors approved the appointment Thursday.

Harvey, who has been with Dreyfus since 2009, will co-manage the fund with Daniel A. Barton. Harvey is currently a senior portfolio manager at Dreyfus and director of relationship management at affiliate Standish Mellon Asset Management Co. LLC. He has experience in institutional and mutual fund management, municipal bond funds, and tax sensitive fixed-income client services.

Dreyfus Corp. will continue to be the investment adviser for the fund.

New York-based Dreyfus is an asset management and distribution company.
