S&P lifts, withdraws DreamWorks after acquisition

S&P said it removed all of the ratings on DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. from CreditWatch, where it was placed with positive implications in April.

The agency also said it raised the company’s corporate credit rating to A- from B-, in line with the rating on its new ultimate parent, Comcast Corp.

The outlook is stable.

S&P also said it subsequently withdrew the rating at the company's request, along with the B- rating on DreamWorks' $300 million senior unsecured 6 7/8% notes following Comcast's full redemption of the notes.

The ratings were placed on watch in April when the acquisition was announced.
