Gamco, Gabelli report 8.32% stake in Cablevision

New York, Oct. 4 - Cablevision Systems Corp. investors led by Gabelli Funds LLC and Gamco Asset Management Inc. lowered their stake in the company after various stock transactions between Aug. 7 and Oct. 2, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investors now own 19,215,500 shares, or 8.32%, of the Bethpage, N.Y.-based media, entertainment and telecommunications company's outstanding stock.

On April 28, 2006, the reporting persons owned 20,858,000 shares, or 9.26%, of the company's shares.
